And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh.

sundry
My son is laying on the couch under the influence of muscle relaxers and zithromax, and my jaw is aching from the repair of my broken tooth. We're falling to pieces.
(But still riding the wave of optimism. Mostly)

What happened to Q? I got a tooth pulled last week and didn't have any pain. But now I have a full bottle of vicodin just waiting for misuse.
Q is fine, mostly. ;-) He has been carrying all of his work to and from school every day because he's worried he'll forget something at school that he needs for homework. YOu would not BELIEVE how heavy his backpack is. I'm 99% sure that's the problem. We saw the doc and she agreed, though wants us to make an appointment with an orthopedist to see if they want to do an MRI (bleah). It's not getting better yet, but it's only been about a week.
Just so happened that when we went in, he'd started feeling congested and yucky that morning and it turns out he has a nasty mycoplasma infection in his ears (this is what caused all his trouble last year and I SWEAR I thought they told me you developed immunity). It's going around and leading to walking pneumonia so she put him on a couple of rounds of zithromax too.
Explains why he's been so HORMONAL and difficult to be around for the last several days...
Katie had mycoplasmic bronchitis/walking pneumonia for MONTHS before it was properly diagnosed. By the time anyone did chest x-rays, her lungs looked like they were filled with spider webs. Poor Q. Coughing can make your back ache, too. Add a heavy backpack, a little stress, and generally feeling crappy... seems like that ought to be enough to make anyone miserable. Pass along my sympathies. (And empathies. I have another disc pancaking. Ow.)

((hugs)) and sympathy. What happened to Q? Sorry you're both under the weather.
