What do the following have in common?
Edamame (both fresh and frozen)
Fresh blackberries
Goat's milk
Fontina cheese
Tuscan bread
Apricot preserves
Cabernet
These are all impulse buys that I found in my shopping cart when I stopped by Trader Joe's today to buy veggies and something for dinner (TJs cheese enchiladas). I swear, my eyes popped out of my head as I unloaded the shopping bags.
Oh, and fresh cut flowers.

Oh, but I bet you'll really enjoy all of it.
(Happens to me ALL THE TIME!)
Yep, that's always a danger in really good stores. However, a shopping list *might* help if you are concerned about it ...
Hope it was all yummy!
Those are lovely things. And flowers are very important:-)

This always happens when I go to a different grocery, but if I went to a Trader Joe's, I'm sure I need two carts! I've only ever been there once (on vacation) and I was AMAZED that such wonderfulness existed outside of my dreams. No TJ's in Iowa. At all. Anywhere. Take pity on the Midwest, TJ!
Jodie - Williamsburg only just got TJs within the last few months. We're all so excited around here that people practically dance through the store.
Peggy and I call shopping trips our "dates." Yet, I often threaten to go on our dates alone because she is really into impulse shopping. Supermarkets make her salivate.
